What you are buying
Each purchase is a $1 digital entertainment purchase that adds one vote to the team you select (Red or Blue) and assigns you a permanent member number for that team. Votes are delivered instantly and digitally.
No prizes, no payouts
Pick a Side is not a sweepstakes, lottery, contest of chance, wager, investment, or fundraiser. There are no prizes, cash payouts, financial rewards, or redeemable value of any kind. The only thing you receive is the vote, the member number, and the shareable result. Nothing here is a security or a financial product.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to make an online purchase in your jurisdiction. Do not purchase on behalf of anyone else without their permission.
Vote totals
Votes are counted only after payment is confirmed by our payment processor. Totals shown on the site update in real time and are final as recorded in our database. Votes that are refunded, charged back, or disputed are removed from team totals.
Refunds
Because votes are digital and delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable. We will refund a purchase if it was unauthorized, duplicated by a technical error, or charged but never delivered as a vote. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Refunded purchases have their vote and member number revoked.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Any applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected at checkout. Your bank statement may show a descriptor beginning with LINK.COM*.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to manipulate totals through fraudulent payments, stolen cards, automated scripting, or payment reversal abuse. We may void votes and refuse service for any activity of this kind.
Changes and availability
We may change these terms, pause the race, or discontinue the site at any time. If the race ends before either team reaches 1,000,000 votes, completed purchases remain valid and non-refundable as entertainment purchases already delivered.
